Ricky Schroder Opens Locker 13
Ricky Schroder is no stranger to the boxing world. In 1979, he won a Golden GlobeĀ® Award playing the son of an aging boxer (Jon Voight) in the critically-acclaimed remake of "The Champ." In 2004, he moved behind the camera to produce and direct "Black Cloud," an independent feature about an up-and-coming Native American boxer. Now, Schroder enters the ring for himself, playing an aging boxer in one segment of the anthology film "Locker 13," produced by Brothers' Ink Productions. The feature, along the lines of "Four Rooms," "Short Cuts," and "Night on Earth," is comprised of seven vignettes, each to be directed by award-winning filmmakers and connected by a mysterious locker number 13.
